Once again, Kryptonia Paperdoll has pulled out the director's chair along with the editor's chair. After trying a few times to get all the girls of Demolition Crew together, she got hold of me and wanted to get this done. It was very close to both of our bed times, but we stayed up long enough to get it done.

There have been a few fashion shows lately that I have either been the production manager, stage manager, model or actually had the time to watch. The biggest issue it seems is finding a great look while still staying under a 1k ARC.

With the help of my beloved husband being the model for the males, we will go through and find stylish designs to show all of you that has the added benefit of having a low ARC.

We hope you enjoy our choices. We also want to thank SF Designs for making a suit that, as Spectre said to me, fit right out of the box and has wonderful textures.

When I first heard about Plurk, I thought it was a joke. Well let me tell you, it isn't!

I truly lucked out yesterday while sitting here in SL just working on a few projects when I heard the Plurk "new message" sound. I looked over to see that Maddox DuPont was putting out an offer I couldn't refuse to attempt. It was be the first so many ladies to IM in SL and they would get some NEW free hair. Well, some other Plurkers beat me to the punch, but I ended up with this wonderful surprise to have "ANA" coming my way in various colors.

I love this hair! It's kind of victorian meets goth. I will say this much though, it is wonderful! I played around with styling it up and sent a picture over to Maddox just to show him how it looked. Next thing I know I am standing in the studio being shot from all angles.

Luck looked favorably on me yesterday. Thank you Maddox and Plurk for a fruitful afternoon!

Celebrating its fifth year in the virtual world, the 2009 American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Second Life is set for July 18-19 as avatars representing cancer survivors, caregivers, their families and the millions of passionate supporters gather virtually to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and join the American Cancer Society in fighting for every birthday, threatened by every cancer in every community.

This year’s virtual world event is expected to attract in excess of 3,000 participants as more than 125 teams unite toward reaching a fundraising goal of $250,000. In 2008, Relay For Life of Second Life raised $215,000 – surpassing its total for the previous three years, combined. The latest announcement showed the current standing of 56 million lindens already raised and the walk has not yet begun.

After a rather busy day I stopped into the Grand Opening of "Island of Silk". I have to say, it was a breath of fresh air at the end of the day.

After taking a little raft across the pond I came around a corner to find a little vegetable garden. It is fittingly called " Lets Get Grubby" and built by Keikei Baxton. It was a nice way to end the day, spending time in the garden, feeling the fresh dirt on ones hands. Keikei, please, keep building things like such.

One must truly love when great skin designers decide to have a sale. Unknown to me until about 3pm est yesterday afternoon, I didn't know that Nomine was having a sale on all the specialty skins. Well, a kind soul let me in on the secret so I ran over to the store with lindens in hand and stood there for an hour, picking out just the right ones to add to my collection.

I came away with five different skins for half the price of one regular priced skin from Nomine. Sadly, the sale ended this morning at 12:01AM SLT.

Ando Joubert has built a gorgeous sim named Symphony. This photo, which Spectre was so kind to help me with, made it to the final twelve in a photo competition.

Its going to be a great day! Today, June 13, 2009 is the day for one of the biggest fashion shows in Second Life. Boudoir Secrets by AVENUE Models is huge and includes nine different designers of the best lingerie to be found in Second Life. To not be there would be sad, but I would understand if life takes you away from a bevy of beautiful women in lingerie. *laughs* NOT!

YAY, Thursday night so that means tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!! Friday means another chance at free chocolate! (See previous post for the info)

In the meantime, I have picked up a couple of lines of clothing to sell in my shops located on the Ansari sim, currently. Many of you have probably seen the “Shouted Couture” line around the Second Life grid but did you know that there is also a men’s line? “Menlosophy” came out May 23^rd and while I was speaking with Mimi, she let me know that they were looking for resellers. After speaking with her for an extended amount of time, I figured what the heck and have joined up. As soon as I get the store settled in I will get a SLURL up and hopefully you will all stop in and visit!

I took some time today to enjoy this wonderful place after having had it on a list of places that I have been wanting to go see.

After roaming around and looking in various buildings I came across this wonderful field of flowers. As I walked into the center of it there was the invitation to lay down and relax, a wonderfully soft pillow that seemed to call my name.

The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing, watching the day turn into night and napping. If you ever need a place to go to just relax and enjoy, look up Symphonic.

Practice, practice, practice!

Practice, practice, practice has been the theme today while preparing for the upcoming graduation show from AVENUE Modeling Academy. This experience has truly shown that the show may look so easy and simple, but the actuality of it, it's not.

From day one of the academy, I knew I had joined a group that truly could be a plus in my learning all that goes on with modeling, within Second Life. The kindness shown by the instructors and their understanding of the issues each of us faces has made going to class so much fun!

As time passes along, I will be updating my blog with various blurbs. It could be anything from upcoming shows to shops that I tend to keep going back to, over and over and over again!

Here is hoping that everyone enjoys. If you will excuse me though, I need to get back to practicing!
